GUCCI

The finest sense for beauty

When the late Guccio Gucci opened his little leather good store in Florence in 1921 and made his vision of beautiful leather accessories become physical he could not have guessed what a moment full of history this was: The hour of birth of the "House of Gucci", better known as GUCCI!

Masterly crafted bags, suitcases, shoes and belts made of finest leather remained the traditional element of the Gucci collections.

Gucci started experimenting with alternative materials like bamboo and linen in their fashion lines, therefore setting innovative accents as early as in the 1940s. The Italian luxury label with its signature logo of two intertwined "G"s became rather popular among the great divas of the 1960s being a synonym for elegance and grace. Audrey Hepburn, Grace Kelly and Jacky O. appeared in Gucci looks and caused a stir. Today the modern divas sit in the front row of every Gucci show: Charlize Theron, Kate Hudson, Clare Danes and Madonna. Learn more

Gucci

After a short-time creative and administrative deadbeat in the 1980s the noble fashion house in 1990 decided to get Tom Ford on board. Remaining in the background at first the star designer became creative director soon and mastered a sensational image re-launch in 1995 leading Gucci to new international success. In the era Tom Ford the sophisticated, traditional brand Gucci advanced to a mysterious, glamorous and sexy luxury label without losing its sense of style and professionality. Instead the pioneering creations by Tom Ford were a new, fresh interpretation of elegant haute couture with traditional charme. Even after Ford, who left Gucci in 2004, the fashion house remains tremendously successfiul and features celebrated collections in every season marked by masterly cuts, fabulous ideas and exclusive materials.

Today there is hardly any well-assorted wardrobe that does not contain at least one Gucci bag with the signature jacquard logo pattern. The reason for many fashion lovers is adding that little bit of luxury to everyday looks with an accessory that will be a reliable companion for a whole life. Gucci fashion styles and accessories are sophisticated and glamourise every outfit with a special aura of timeless beauty! close
